With its innovative SwingThru Strike Plate and double-action continuous SwingHinge, the SWING anti-barricade door can open outwards in under 2 seconds with no need to retract the lock bolt.
Manufactured to exacting standards, SWING offers a versatile, safe, and durable anti-barricade solution for the most challenging behavioral health environments with all the robustness of our proven-to-perform tri-laminate core doors. It is available in single leaf or leaf and a half configurations for wide access, ensuring the correct solution can be found for your facility.
As with all Kingsway Group behavioral health doorsets, SWING is ideal for both new build and refurbishment projects, arriving on site pre-tested and pre-assembled with all ligature-resistant hardware and componentry factory-fitted for smooth and efficient installation, with certification to UL standards.

Simple operation
Fast overcoming of patient barricades in behavioral health facilities
SWING’s SwingStop provides normal single-action operation when locked and is secured by three locking points for high-strength performance. Unlocking the SwingStop with a single turn of the Kingsway Staff Key will allow the door leaf to open outwards freely, providing staff with access to the service user room in under 2 seconds.
The innovative SwingThru Strike Plate means there is no need to retract the door lock bolt to overcome barricades, and no need for cumbersome override tool kits. The continuous SwingHinge provides double-action capabilities to the door leaf while retaining ligature resistant design and adding to the door’s robustness by providing a continuous anchor point to the door frame.
