The ligature-resistant SECLUSION Door System provides our most robust solution for areas where patients are required to be isolated in a safe environment, such as seclusion rooms and de-escalation spaces.
With no visible fixings on the inside face of the doorset, SECLUSION enhances patient safety in high-risk areas, while staff can rely on the high-strength multi-point locking system for unrivalled security. A slam lock feature further aids staff, allowing them to quickly secure the door before deadlocking for complete security when necessary.
For optimum strength and durability, SECLUSION features a fully-welded 12GA Hollow Metal Frame and high-strength continuous ligature-resistant hinge to ensure the integrity of the doorset is maintained if subjected to extreme force.

Ligature-Resistant Hardware
The SECLUSION doorset features highly robust ligature-resistant hardware designed to minimize risk in the most challenging environments.
To increase the doorset’s functionality and help improve staff safety further, SECLUSION can be fitted with a KG165 Secure Hatch, allowing staff to pass food or other small items to the patient without the risk of opening the door.
The high-strength serving hatch will automatically lock when closed and features three locking points for increased security. The hatch can be unlocked from the staff side only, and it is controlled by a single key point using the Kingsway Staff Key. If a Duralux Privacy Vision Panel is specified, this will be controlled by the same Kingsway Staff Key.
Safe Observation
Clear-Glaze or Privacy Vision Panels
To support safe observation within the most challenging environments, SECLUSION can be fitted with a high-strength, ligature-resistant Vision Panel, available in either Clear-Glazed (Pyrolux) or Privacy (Duralux) specifications depending on your project requirements.
Kingsway Vision Panels feature two layers of high-strength, attack-resistant Trident Glazing, housed securely within two pressed stainless steel fascia to provide robust performance in behavioral and mental health environments. They also benefit from no visible fixings on the patient side to further reduce risk.
If opting for a Duralux Privacy Vision Panel, the privacy vision bands are controlled solely on the staff side by using the Kingsway Staff Key or anti-ligature thumb turn (depending on your chosen specification).

All our vision panels are ligature-resistant by design with no visible fixings on the patient side, and they are available with a customized powder coat or wrapped finish to create a more therapeutic environment. Our Duralux series vision panels can also be fitted with custom images to further enhance the care setting.
The SECLUSION Door System is not currently smoke rated, but we do provide alternative anti-ligature doorsets that are certificated to UL1784:

• SWITCH Anti-Barricade Door System
