Greater control & Flexibility
Simple operation with flexible and controllable usage
The STOW doorset offers simple operation while maximizing flexibility over how a space is used. With the ability to be locked shut, locked open in the secondary frame, or left unlocked for normal use, STOW provides greater control over how the door is used.
1. Free Usage
Where it is deemed safe through clinical assessment, staff can leave the door unlocked allowing it to be open and closed freely.
2. Stowed Open
To facilitate safe access to high-risk areas without the risk of moving the door, staff can safely lock the door in the open position by securing the leaf into the secondary frame.
3. Locked Shut
If clinical assessment deems free access through the door to be unsafe for the patient, staff can lock the door leaf in the closed position, preventing patients from opening or gaining access through the doorway.
