October delivered a milestone-week for Kingsway Group Global with our team on the road at events across 3 continents simultaneously!
Kingsway Group UK were in attendance at Healthcare Estates in England, while our Global CEO, Julian Hall, joined Kingsway Group AU for our co-hosted Designing Recovery event in Sydney alongside Crown Furniture, focusing on the importance of input from Experts by Experience during the design of new behavioral healthcare environments.
Meanwhile, here in the US, our Project Consultants were in attendance at the annual Healthcare Design Exhibition. Taking place this year in Indianapolis, HCD is industry’s best-attended event, devoted to promoting and sharing knowledge of the positive impact that evidence-based design can bring to safety and clinical outcomes in healthcare facilities.

It was a brilliant few days spent connecting with both new and familiar faces at Healthcare Design from across the behavioral health sector at HCD.
We welcomed the opportunity to catch up with delegates and hear their thoughts on our latest innovations in ligature-resistant design and patient wellness technology, including our new ensuite SHOWER Door System and the SERENITY Interactive Panel.
Our SWING DTM (Door Top Monitor) Door System also received great interest during demonstrations on our stand. Anti-barricade and ligature-resistant by design, the SWING DTM is designed to minimize the risk of patient self harm in behavioral health environments, featuring an integrated door top monitor that alerts staff when a ligature is detected at the door’s top edge.
