By relocating patients to calming therapeutic spaces designed specifically to support people in moments of mental health crises, EmPATH Units have demonstrated remarkable outcomes: reducing patient agitation and aggression, minimizing the use of involuntary medications and restraints, and facilitating quicker stabilization, with 75% of patients stabilizing and returning home within 24 hours on average.

Psychiatric Assessment Unit
Kingsway Group were honored to be part of the state-of-the-art Health Based Place of Safety facility at the Longley Centre in Sheffield, UK. The bright, modern and comfortable facility consists of three suites designed to safely assess and support service users through moments of crisis, comparable to how EmPATH Units operate here North America.
