Duralux Platinum Switchable Vision Panel
The Duralux Platinum Switchable Vision Panel combines the strength and design features of the original model with the added benefit of electronic switchable glass.
The panel can be controlled by either the Kingsway Staff Key or an anti-ligature push button. By simply turning the Kingsway Staff Key or operating the push button, the panel will change from opaque to clear silently in less than 0.1 seconds.
The panel can be fitted with control mechanisms either to one side only or to both sides to provide the patient with control over the panel.

High strength
Durlux Platinum features two layers of high-strength attack resistant Trident glazing secured between pressed stainless steel fascia to deliver an extremely durable observation solution.
To the patient side:
- Trident 19mm toughened attack resistant glass to EN356
- Pressed stainless steel fascia with no visible fixings
To the staff side:
- Trident 10mm toughened attack resistant glass to EN356
- Pressed stainless steel fascia with M5 security bolts
Sizing options
Duralux Platinum is available in the following square and oblong sizing options as standard with bespoke sizing available where required.
Square standard sizing:
- 405mm x 405mm
Oblong standard sizing:
- 800mm x 250mm
Customisation
As part of our commitment to helping mental health facilities deliver less institutional spaces, Duralux Platinum Vision Panels are available with a customisable powder coat or wrapped finish to the fascia to help contribute to a more therapeutic environment.
