Visilux Privacy Vision Panel
The Visilux Privacy Vision Panel combines toughened glass and top quality stainless steel components within a timber frame to deliver a versatile and robust double-sided observation panel that compliments the healing environment.
With its softened edges, rounded anti-ligature thumb turn and FD30 fire rating, the Visilux Privacy Vision Panel provides a safe and effective observation solution for lower secure mental health environments where a more homely feel is desired.
Visilux is available in a number of square and oblong sizes as standard and can be manufactured to bespoke sizes to suit the required aperture. To help compliment the healing environment, the Visilux range can accommodate a wide selection of finishes whilst the vision bands can be customised with bespoke imagery to help personalise mental health spaces whilst providing a safe means of observation without compromising service user privacy.

Operation
Visilux can be made to operate from both sides or just one, controlled by either the Kingsway Staff Key or an anti-ligature thumb turn with a choice of ‘hold open’ and ‘auto-close’ functions.
To the patient side:
- Trident 6mm, 10mm, or 19mm attack resistant glazing
- Timber bead frame with no visible fixings
- Optional anti-ligature thumb turn to control the vision bands (or no control mechanism)
To the staff side:
- Trident 6mm, 10mm, or 19mm attack resistant glazing
- Timber bead frame with M5 security fixings
- Kingsway Staff Key controls the vision bands
Sizing options
Visilux is available in the following square and oblong sizing options as standard and can be manufactured to bespoke sizes to suit the required aperture.
Square standard sizing:
- 405mm x 405mm
Oblong standard sizing:
- 800mm x 250mm
Customisation
Visilux Privacy Vision Panels can be customised with a range of coloured finishes to the timber beading frame to help contribute to a more therapeutic environment. Customisation options extend to the vision bands which can feature bespoke imagery to help personalise spaces within a mental health facility.
