Visilux Platinum Switchable Vision Panel
The Visilux Platinum Switchable Vision Panel combines the strength and design features of the original model with electronic switchable glass.
The switchable glass can be controlled by either the Kingsway Staff Key or a push button. By simply turning the Kingsway Staff Key or operating the push button or turn, the panel will change from opaque to clear silently in less than 0.1 seconds, offering an effective solution for both staff observations and maintaining service user privacy.
The panel can be fitted with control mechanisms to one side only or to both sides to provide the service user with control over the panel.

Operation
Visilux Platinum offers a robust observation solution whilst maintaining privacy and can be made to operate from both sides or just one, controlled by either the Kingsway Staff Key or a button with.
To the patient side:
- Trident 6mm, 10mm, or 19mm attack resistant glazing
- Timber bead frame with no visible fixings
- Optional Kingsway Staff Key or button to control switchable glass (or no control mechanism)
To the staff side:
- Trident 6mm, 10mm, or 19mm attack resistant glazing
- Timber bead frame with M5 security fixings
- Kingsway Staff Key or button to control switchable glass
Sizing options
Visilux Platinum is available in the following square and oblong sizing options as standard with bespoke sizing available where required.
Square standard sizing:
- 405mm x 405mm
Oblong standard sizing:
- 800mm x 250mm
Customisation
As part of our commitment to helping mental health facilities deliver less institutional spaces, Visilux Platinum Vision Panels can be customised with a range of coloured finishes to the timber beading frame to help contribute to a more therapeutic environment.
