DTM: Anti-Ligature Door Top Monitor
The DTM (Door Top Monitor) ligature alarm by Kingsway Group is designed support clinical staff in preventing loss of life in challenging environments, alerting care teams if a ligature is detected at the door’s top edge.
Anti-Ligature by design, the DTM is a hardwired and integrated component compatible with the following Kingsway Group Complete Door Systems:

· SOLO Single-Action Door System
· STOW Complete Door System
Unique detection:
The DTM benefits from the unique ability to detect ligatures at the door’s top edge no matter what position the door is in; open or closed. It features a low profile covering the entire width of the door’s top edge, eliminating overlap and reducing the risk of jamming.
Seamless integration:
As a hardwired component, the DTM provides the robustness and reliability demanded for a life-critical solution and seamlessly interfaces with Kingsway’s KOSMOS Smart Monitoring System, K-Alert Alarm Annunciation System, as well as all major staff attack alarm and nurse call systems.
If further risk-reduction is required, our SENTRY ligature alarm system provides ligature detection across the door’s top, leading and bottom edges.

Versatile and hardwired
Integrating with our SWING, SWITCH, STOW and SOLO door systems, our Door Top Monitor Alarm is able to deliver a ligature alarm solution for a wide range of areas in your mental health facility, including areas where Anti-Barricade Door Systems are used.
Forming part of a life-critical system, our Door Top Monitor is hardwired to ensure optimum reliability and requires less maintenance than battery powered and wireless alternatives and can be supplied with a back-up battery to ensure continued operation for a minimum of four hours in the event of power outages.
KOSMOS and annunciator integration
Following extensive research with mental healthcare providers, our Door Top Monitor is designed to integrate seamlessly with our new KOSMOS Smart Monitoring System, allowing clinical teams to fully monitor ligature alarms with access to valuable data and insights through a complete audit trail of patient activity, alarm activations, and staff observations.
Alerting staff to life-threatening incidents, our Door Top Monitor integrates with all major legacy staff attack and nurse call systems, including SAS, Pinpoint and Guardian.
