The adult inpatient unit in Oldham is based on the first floor of Parklands House. It has two 22 bedded mixed wards and serves the population of Oldham as part of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Within the facility is a fully equipped gym, relaxation room, therapy room, laundry room, and a family visiting room. On the ground floor there is an occupational therapy kitchen and a separate unit to accommodate individuals brought in by the police under section 136 of the Mental Health Act.
Within this ward, Kingsway have provided the SWING solution to the bedroom doorsets, equipped with Duralux vision panels. The en-suite doors feature our Door Top Monitor solution, integrated with the Guardian staff attack system.
