We are delighted for two of our latest innovations to be ‘Highly Commended’ within their respective categories at this year’s Building Better Healthcare Awards in the UK.
Highly Commended in the Best Furniture & Fixtures Category was our new anti-ligature SHOWER Door System. This compassionately designed product preserves patient privacy and dignity in mental healthcare environments while providing a therapeutic appearance and independently verified strength and ligature-resistance. The product is capable of comfortably withstanding overextension of 3kN, approximately equal to 674 pounds of force, which was the maximum amount of force that the third-party test center’s machinery was able to generate – see for yourself by clicking the ‘Third Party Testing’ tab on this page!
SERENITY is our latest patient wellness technology product, designed to aid relaxation, de-escalation, and to support proactive communication between patients and staff in mental healthcare environments. The interactive panel was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Healthcare Software (process, admin or patient-centred) category. SERENITY’s intuitive and customisable user interface allows the service user to personalise their environment, providing an improved sense of control and aiding relaxation in what can be a challenging setting.
