SENSORY CAMHS Door System
With many children and young people remaining in care for extended periods of time, the built environment has a responsibility to positively contribute to service user wellbeing through user-centred design.
Innovated to safely enhance the CAMHS bedroom environment, Kingsway’s new SENSORY CAMHS Door System has been co-produced with Experts by Experience to help create a space that nurtures, provides a sense of ownership and control, and one in which children and young people can fundamentally feel safe and comfortable within.
With a circular theme and specifically designed hardware, SENSORY provides a softened appearance and homely feel while delivering the anti-ligature properties required to facilitate safe use within CAMHS environments.
Available in anti-barricade and single-action specifications, the SENSORY doorset delivers the same proven performance, robustness and durability of Kingsway’s existing Complete Door System range and is compatible with our SENTRY ligature monitoring system.
Developed as part of the Co-Production CAMHS Bedroom Collaboration Project.
