How We Work
We strive to provide meaningful support to our partners that goes beyond the products we offer. From large complex new builds to refurbishment projects, our philosophy of ‘Define, Design and Deliver’ ensures we provide the best possible risk-reducing solutions for your project’s unique requirements.
Through our years of experience working with NHS Trusts and private partners, we have developed an in-depth knowledge of the complexities faced within mental health and other challenging environments. We offer expert guidance whilst engaging and consulting with key project stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the specific requirements of your project are met. It’s one of the reasons so many partners have trusted Kingsway Group to deliver complete door projects in their specialist environments.
Our Proven Process
Define
On making an enquiry with us, a Kingsway Group Project Consultant will work with you to understand and define the key objectives of your project. Your Project Consultant will provide advice and support on product selection based on our years of experience in supporting challenging environments and different service user groups.
Design
Your project begins to come to life as we work with all the key stakeholders to ensure a joined-up design. A Kingsway Group Project Manager will be assigned to your project, guiding it as it develops to ensure the smoothest possible process. If the project requirements have changed, we are flexible to developing the perfect solution.
Deliver
This is where we make it happen. Your bespoke solutions are manufactured in our state-of-the-art production facility to our exacting standards, ensuring strict project scheduling for on-time delivery and installation. Beyond project completion, we remain present to offer support where needed.
Certified Fire-Door Installation
When it comes to installation, it’s important you have the right team on hand to ensure things are fitted correctly the first time. We’ve now expanded on our 3-step process of Define, Design and Deliver to include two additional crucial steps; Install and Maintain.
In addition to being a certificated fire-door manufacturer by BM Trada Q-Mark scheme, we’re also a certificated installer of specialist fire-rated Complete Door Systems (learn more about what makes a ‘Complete Door System’ different). Our highly-skilled installation team are sensitive to the ever-changing complexities of new-build projects, refurbishments and live settings.
Learn more about our InstallationSafeCheck Maintenance
The Code of Practice for Fire Door Assemblies BS 8214:2008 recommends that door leaves and frames are checked at six monthly intervals for superficial damage, structural damage, and excessive bowing or deformation. There are then the additional ligature risks that arise from damaged or defective hardware to consider, along with the operationality of critical components such as the anti-barricade devices or the door ligature monitor if one is present.
With SafeCheck, an employee of Kingsway Group certificated to the BM Trada Q-Mark Maintenance Scheme will visit your facility bi-annually, undertaking an extensive 22-point inspection of your products to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and, where necessary, highlight any issues that need to be addressed.
