{"id":1605,"date":"2023-05-14T14:46:31","date_gmt":"2023-05-14T14:46:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kingswaygroupglobal.com\/?post_type=case-study&#038;p=1605"},"modified":"2023-06-01T08:12:40","modified_gmt":"2023-06-01T08:12:40","slug":"southern-health-nhs-trust-austen-house","status":"publish","type":"case-study","link":"https:\/\/kingswaygroupglobal.com\/en-au\/case-study\/southern-health-nhs-trust-austen-house","title":{"rendered":"Southern Health NHS Trust &#8211; Austen House"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>The new Austen House Low Secure CAMHS Unit for Southern Health NHS Trust had a full internal doorset package supplied by Kingsway Group after detailed collaboration with the design team to ensure that the best possible product solutions were selected.<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1607\" src=\"https:\/\/kingswaygroupglobal.com\/app\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Austen-House-case-study-image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kingswaygroupglobal.com\/product\/switch-anti-barricade-door-system\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SWITCH Anti-Barricade Doors System<\/a><\/span> was selected as having the unique ability to open outwards on the hinge side in an emergency which allows staff to stand in the &#8216;barricade green-zone&#8217;. The SWITCH doorsets were fitted with the Smart internal access control release which gives more freedom to patients whilst allowing staff to track movements and audit actions.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kingswaygroupglobal.com\/product\/anti-ligature-door-top-monitor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Door Top Ligature Monitors<\/a><\/span> were also integrated into the Smart system to increase patient safety and meet the NHS Trust&#8217;s duty of care obligations.
